Chemical Secret is a novel written by Tim Vicary. The genre of the novel is suspense and mystery. The book was published in 1991.

Tim Vicary was born in London, United Kingdom, in 1949, so he is 69 years old. He is a writer and a teacher in the University of York, in England. He has written lots of thrillers, for example, A Game of Proof and A fatal Verdict, but he has also written historical novels.

The book tells the story of John Duncan, a biologist who had been employed in a painting factory. John had two children, Andrew and Christine. He had had a wife, called Rachel. They had a business of boats and they were rich. But one day, Rachel died in a heavy storm while she was sailing. Since then, John didn’t get a job because he wasn’t young enough to be employed in a business.

But, finally, he got a job. His new work in the factory was to investigate if the new paint they have created was dangerous for the environment or not. In this factory he would fall in love and he would make some mistakes that would put his family’s lives in danger.

I recommend you this book if you like mystery stories. You will really enjoy it!!!
