Liburu hau gustatu zait, Charlie Chaplinen bizitzarekin atal batzuetan, batez ere bere, haurtzaroarekin, identifikatu naizelako. Bera umezurtegi batean bizi izan zen urte batzuk, ni bezala.

Gainera, bere pelikulak asko gustatzen zaizkit, “Mutikoa”, ”Diktadore Handia”… Eta batez ere,Charlot Pertsonaiarekin egin zituenak. Betidanik oso pertsona erakargarria iruditu zait, baina bere bizitzari buruzko liburu hau irakurri dudanean, gehiago erakarri nau.


Aktore ona izateaz gain,oso langilea eta sormen handikoa izan zen. Pelikula asko egin zituen eta bizitzan beti aurrera egin zuen, nahiz eta bere lehendabiziko urteak oso gogorrak izan.

Charles Chaplin nace en 1889 en Londres, en una familia de artistas. Sus padres se separan cuando es un niño y a partir de ese momento su niñez fue muy dura, con muchas penalidades.

Comenzó a actuar en el teatro muy joven, y posteriormente, en 1910 se traslada a trabajar en EEUU. Allí comienza a trabajar en el cine y se hace famoso con su personaje de Charlot. Se hizo rico y fundó su propia productora de cine. Rodó muchas películas, algunas muy famosas como El Niño, Luces de la ciudad, Tiempos Modernos, El Gran Dictador…

Con 54 años se casó con Oona O’Neill, de 18 años. Tuvo 10 hijos y vivió sus últimos años en Suiza, ya que tuvo que abandonar EEUU acusado de ser comunista.

Charles Chaplin was born in 1889 in London in a family of artists. His parents separated when he was a child and after that moment his childhood was very hard, with a lot of hardships.

He began acting in the theater very young, and then in 1910 moved to work in the US. There he began to work in movies and became famous with his character of Charlot. He became rich and founded his own film company. He made many films, some very famous such as The Kid, City Lights, Modern Times, The Great Dictator…

When he was 54 years old he married Oona O'Neill, 18 years old. He had 10 children and he lived his last years in Switzerland, because he had to leave the US accused of being a communist.
